Hello friends,
We’re going into hibernation, which is to say, we’re not doing a second issue. We’re going to keep the website up n’at in case we ever want to circle back, but for now, we can’t afford it time-wise or money-wise. It’s really a bummer, because we got a lot of swell work this time around, but with Alexander taking on a bit more design work and Sara starting the most recent season on Boardwalk Empire reading a lot of plays for work, something’s got to give. We started this magazine based on the idea of seriously considering each issue and we’re just not able to do that right now. Maybe later.
We want to thank everyone who helped make this a thing: the people who submitted their work, both people we know IRL and people we don’t; all our social media buddies, everyone who tweeted about us, tagged us in things on Facebook, instagram’d the first issue, etc. It was really fun, and we got to read and see a lot cool stuff. We hope our loss will be other magazines’ gain.
